Velocity Powersports is Hiring a Service Manager Near Orangeburg, SC
Velocity Powersport is looking for a dynamic Service Manager to join our team. We are a premium multi line dealer that services Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, CfMoto and more near Orangeburg SC, with some of the most beautiful areas to ride, live, and raise a family. We have 3 trained technicians and 1 service writer currently. We want someone to lead a talented Service Team at the highest level to produce superior, customer oriented, department performance. This position will pay $60,000 plus annually depending on experience. It is a salary plus commission pay plan.
Essential Duties:
● Oversee the hiring and training of an effective service team, and ensuring high teammate retention
● Sets schedules and assigns tasks to service department employees
● Oversees warranty claim administrator
● Train staff in best practices in selling service, customer satisfaction, and brand awareness
● Monitor Service Writers efforts and effectiveness.
● Monitors Dealership adherence to manufacturer standards.
● Effectively Manage Shop Workflow.
● Assists in diagnosing vehicle problems
● Handle all Shop payroll / auditing.
● Determine and communicate monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of gross profits, objectives and departmental profit
● Forecast monthly objectives in terms of the number and type of Customer RO's, time utilization, prospecting efforts, sales, and projected income.
